THE 1930 SERIES

The Riviera Shirt began with a scene rather than a sketch.

A man alone in a quiet room. A radio playing in the background. Coffee on the table. An old telephone ringing. A package arriving without explanation.

These details were not created simply to dress a set. They helped define the kind of garment that could belong there.

The shirt needed to feel familiar, but difficult to place. Not a costume. Not a reproduction. A piece shaped by a slower relationship with clothing — chosen carefully, worn often and kept long enough to become personal.

The intention was not to recreate the past.

It was to recover a feeling that modern clothing often leaves behind.

The fabric was chosen for the way it changes with wear.

Made from 75% linen and 25% cotton in a substantial 238 gsm weight, it has a natural texture, a soft structure and enough presence to hold the shape of the shirt while remaining breathable.

The fabric was pre-washed before cutting, allowing it to settle into a softer and more natural drape.

Warm Sand responds quietly to light, moving between the tones of sun-faded fabric, aged paper and the warm surface of an old interior.

Every Riviera Shirt is individually cut and made by hand in Germany. Only 20 numbered pieces will be produced.

The surface is not meant to remain perfect.

It is meant to record a life.

The Riviera Shirt is relaxed, but never shapeless.

If the silhouette sat too close to the body, it felt restricted. If it became too wide, it lost its posture.

The final cut leaves considered room through the body and sleeves, while the shoulder line, collar and length give the shirt a clear structure.

It can be worn open over another layer or closed as a complete silhouette. In both forms, it remains composed.

The proportions were not designed to make the wearer look dressed for another period. They were made to work naturally in the present , easy, deliberate and able to move with the person wearing it.

The shirt does not ask the wearer to pose.

It gives him room to exist.
